Terms of processing personal data

The website https://pvl.gov.ua/ (hereinafter referred to as the Site) grants the Regional State Laboratory of the State Service for Food, Consumer Protection and Consumer Protection in Poltava region, Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations of Ukraine code 00703173 (hereinafter referred to as the Laboratory), the right to process the Users’ personal data in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine and for the purpose specified below.

Consent to the processing of personal data is considered to be given from the moment the User sends an application through the Site and places a check mark next to the text “I agree to the Terms of processing personal data”.

Scope and nature of data processing

The User consents to the processing of his personal data, which includes any actions or set of actions:

  • collection, registration, accumulation, storage;
  • adaptation, change, restoration;
  • use and distribution (transfer, implementation);
  • depersonalization and destruction, including using information (automated) systems.

Processing may be carried out in paper, electronic and other forms and include the following data:

  • User’s name;
  • region of residence, email address, contact phone number, other contact information (at the User’s request);
  • IP address, other communication data;
  • messages, letters, applications, questionnaires transmitted by the User.

The User also agrees to receive information messages to the contacts provided by him (email, phone, etc.).

2. Purpose of processing personal data

Personal data is processed for the purpose of:

  • considering User’s requests;
  • collecting statistical information about the operation of the Site to improve services;
  • assessing the quality of service of Users/Customers of the Laboratory’s services;
  • informing about the terms of service provision, changes in services and organization of the Site;
  • other purposes that do not contradict the current legislation of Ukraine.

Data is stored for at least 5 years from the moment they are received by the Laboratory.

3. Rights of the User – the subject of personal data

The User has the right:

  • to know about the location of the personal data base, its purpose and name;
  • to receive information about the conditions of access to personal data, including information about third parties to whom they are transferred;
  • to have access to their personal data;
  • to receive a response regarding the storage of their personal data no later than 30 calendar days from the date of the request;
  • to demand changes or destruction of personal data if they are processed illegally or are inaccurate;
  • to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data;
  • to file complaints with state authorities, authorized officials or the court;
  • to protect personal data from illegal processing, accidental loss, damage or disclosure.

4. Disclosure of data

The Laboratory discloses personal data solely for the purpose of considering Users’ requests and in cases provided for by the legislation of Ukraine.
Data may be transferred to:

  • state bodies, local government bodies – within their powers;
  • other third parties – only if there are legal grounds and in compliance with the established procedure.

The use of data for statistical, scientific or historical purposes is carried out exclusively in an anonymized form and does not require the separate consent of the User.

5. Protection of personal data

The Laboratory takes the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, disclosure or destruction. Only authorized employees have access to the data.
